How much is storage
The price of storage will depend on various things. Such as, the size of the unit, the amount of stuff you need to store and the purpose of storage.
For example, you would book the smallest size possible if you are moving house and only need temporary storage. Some people require extra space so they can easily sort through their belongings without having to move everything out of the unit to do so. Therefore they would book a bigger self storage space.
What is the minimum storage period I can pay for?
Store Ur Stuff offer monthly self storage terms and charge storage fees monthly.
What size are your units?
With over 140 undercover self storage units available, as well as outdoor car, boat and caravan storage. We have a range of storage unit sizes to meet every need. When can I access my storage unit?
Ultimately, you can access your storage unit any time between 6am to 8pm every day, including public holidays. To gain access to the facility through the security gates and main roller door you will need your unique PIN. Additionally, upon moving into your self storage unit you will be issued with your own unique PIN.
Furthermore, 24 hour access to the Self Storage Facility is available if required for a small additional fee. Please contact us to arrange this for you.
What security features do you have?
Store UR Stuff staff are on site from 8.30 to 5pm Monday to Saturday. We undertake daily site inspections that includes lock integrity checks.
Surveillance cameras have been positioned throughout the facility and are in operation 24 x 7.
Gain access to our undercover units through a centralised roller door alarmed with a monitored security alarm. Additionally, you will need your unique PIN code to control the roller door. You can then open and close the roller door with the use of your unique PIN. Unlike our competition, the roller does not remain open for the duration of our access hours. Ultimately, giving you better security for your goods. We also use access software to track and record all PIN codes so that we know who has been and is in and out of our facility.
External lighting and secure perimeter fencing provide additional security to the property.
Store Ur Stuff monitor entry to and from the site using access control and surveillance systems.
Are my goods insured?
We do not insure your items in storage, but we strongly recommend you consider appropriate insurance cover. Not all household insurance will cover your goods, that is why we have an arrangement with Midland Insurance Brokers. You can cover $1,000 worth of goods for as low as $1.10. Furthermore, please take the time to read the product information, and contact us if you have any further questions.
How do you charge me?
In advance and on a monthly basis, you will be charged for your storage. You will pay for your first month’s self storage on or before the day you move in (we call the day you move in your “Start Date”. If planning to move out of your storage unit(s) you will need to advise us prior to doing so. Otherwise, you will continue to be charged storage fees on a monthly basis on the anniversary of your start date. Alternatively, we can set up automatic payments from your nominated account.
Do you help me move my stuff into the storage unit?
We provide complimentary use of Store UR Stuff trolleys. This helps customers to move their stuff from their vehicles to their self storage unit. Additionally, we have also partnered up with other South Australian businesses; Cut Price Auto Rentals to ensure your move be as easy and stress free as possible.
How far in advance can I book a storage unit?
You can reserve a storage unit up to 30 days in advance. Additionally, you can book in advance quickly and easily over the phone, in person or online.
To reserve online, visit our booking page and click on the quick reserve button next to the storage unit you have chosen. You can ‘Pay later’ up to 30 days in advance. Or you can ‘Pay Now’ up to 7 days in advance.
The size of the unit I booked isn’t suitable. Can I transfer to a different sized storage space?
Yes, of course. One of the benefits of using self storage is that you should only pay for the space that you need. Staff can easily arrange for you to transfer to a better sized storage unit and your rent will be adjusted accordingly. Additionally, when transferring fees may be applied.
What do I need to move into a storage unit?
Prior to moving into your storage unit we will require a copy of your photo ID. As well as paperwork that will need to be completed. You will be issued with your PIN code once you have made your payment, completed your paperwork and your ID has been copied. We will then demonstrate and test your PIN code and give you a quick orientation of the facility.
Additionally, you can complete this process in advance or on the day of moving your belongings in to your storage unit.
Can I pay for more than one month?
Yes, we welcome payments of more than one month in advance.
I no longer require my storage unit. What do I need to do?
Please provide us with at least 10 days notice of your intention to move out. Additionally, you will need to complete an intend to vacate form to terminate your self storage agreement and have your belongings moved out of your storage unit by 5pm on your move out date.
Furthermore, we expect that you will leave your storage unit completely empty, clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. After you have moved out, we will inspect your vacant storage unit. Assuming all is in order, your security deposit will be refunded within 7 days of your move out date.
Can I move out of my storage space before the end of my rental term?
We do not ask you to commit to a finish date when you sign up with Store UR Stuff. We will continue to charge storage fees on a monthly basis until you give us at least 10 days notice of your intention to move out.
If I move out part way through a month, will you refund me the remainder?
Store Ur Stuff charge storage fees monthly and in advance. There is no refund for unused days in a month. If you have paid for more than one month in advance, we will refund any unused months.
Who has access to my self storage unit?
Only those people you choose can access your storage unit. Additionally, our customers bring their own locks for their self storage units, and hold the keys. We do not hold keys or copies of keys. This ensures that you keep total control over who has access to your storage unit. Furthermore, we have padlocks available to purchase in our Box Shop.
Can I drive up to my storage unit to unload?
No, but all storage units are easily accessible. There are a range of trolleys available on site to help transport your storage items from your vehicle to your undercover unit.
Who can I give my PIN to?
We recommend that you don’t give your code out to anyone other than the person you have nominated to have access on your contract. Additionally, this protects you and others storing in the Store Ur Stuff self storage facility.
Please do not give your PIN to any removalists or 3rd party service. Doing so compromises the security of our facility.
Who can enter Store UR Stuff?
Customers and staff are the only people who have access to our property. Additionally, Store Ur Stuff use automated steel gates activated by individualised PIN codes to monitor and control access.
Surveillance cameras operating 24 x 7 provide additional peace of mind to our customers.
My PIN is not working
If your PIN is not working, enter the # key and re-enter your PIN# pressing firmly on the buttons.
Your PIN will not work if your account is overdue. If you are overdue you will need to make payment during our business hours so your access can be activate.
Furthermore, ensure you are not outside the access hours – 6am to 8pm. Your PIN will not allow you to exit after 8pm.
I have forgotten my PIN, what do I do?
Store Ur Stuff cannot issue/reissue PINS outside of business hours or over the phone. To reissue a PIN during our business hours photo ID must be presented.
I have lost my padlock keys, what do I do?
Loss of padlock keys resulting in the destruction of the current padlock will incur a fee. Store Ur Stuff will also require you to complete additional paperwork.
